Managing complex flows and ensuring reliability
Every year, GLOG receives, processes, and ships more than 13,000 tons of granite from around the world, representing nearly 550 containers per year. Each order is carefully checked and delivered on time to one of our 1,200 customers, who are funeral operators.
Our main site in Brittany, which specializes in funeral logistics, is equipped with high-performance handling and loading equipment and includes:
- Receipt and unloading of containers
- Systematic quality control
- Storage in a 4,600 m² facility
- Handling and preparation of multi-reference orders
- Optimization of outgoing flows (groupage)
This organization ensures smooth inbound and outbound flows and total adaptability to peaks in activity (seasonality, exceptional volumes, emergencies).

Picking & order preparation
Responsiveness, flexibility, and control of individual flows
With the support of our second site in the Rhône-Alpes region (Beaujolais), our teams manage an order preparation activity, serving the hospital, medico-legal, thanatopraxy, and funeral sectors. In our 75 m² dedicated warehouse, we handle a catalog of more than 350 active references, with a same-day order processing capacity and guaranteed delivery times of 24 to 48 hours, including for international shipments.

Quality control is a priority at GLOG. We have implemented a series of checks on all products in transit to ensure that deliveries meet our customers' requirements.
At GLOG, quality is not just a milestone at the end of the chain: it is a process integrated into every stage of logistics. To meet this requirement, we have a dedicated and trained team whose mission is twofold:
- Anticipate material or logistical issues to avoid delays, non-compliance, or disputes.
- Ensure that every product delivered meets the end customer's quality standards.
Our control methods vary depending on the type of customer or product:
- Inspection of monuments upon arrival at the platform,
- Systematic photographic inspections at the supplier's premises before shipment from the production site
- Verification of packaging, packing, and logistics documents before delivery.
This preventive quality system also helps to reduce the after-sales service rate and ensure reliable deadline management—two essential factors in the funeral, hospital, and forensic sectors.
